Free to attend economic impact evaluation workshops

IED members are able to gain free access to a series of economic impact evaluation workshops being run by the What Works Centre for Local Economic Growth.

To help local practitioners introduce more economic impact evaluation into their own policymaking process, the Centre will be hosting quarterly open-access workshops which will run through everything from identifying a good evaluation to commissioning your own.

The open access workshops are open to Institute of Economic Development members, and employees of Local Enterprise Partnerships, Local Authorities and Combined Authorities. These workshops are targeted at policy and programme officers, monitoring and evaluation officers, procurement officers and strategic decision makers in LEPs and Local Authorities, but they may also be of relevance to others.

The one-day workshops will take place in Leeds, Nottingham, London and Bristol. For more information and to register, please click here.

If you would like to talk more about whether this will be the right course for you, please email info@whatworksgrowth.org.
