The Annual CIPFA Procurement and Contract Audit Update has been specially developed for auditors and procurement practitioners in public bodies. Key highlights for this year’s virtual event will include a session on wider hidden consequences of poor outsourcing contracts delivered by an award winning journalist, the importance of having effective and robust supply chains, key factors that will help stimulate local economies as the recovery plan post-covid takes centre stage, as well as how public bodies need to take proactive steps to prevent procurement fraud following recent high profile reviews.
