Important - this is a series of 3 CPD sessions each running for 90 minutes on the 15, 22 and 29 June 2021.
Run by IED corporate members, Lichfields.
The course will comprise of three sessions, each lasting for 90 minutes and taking place online. The sessions will explore some of the issues and opportunities facing town centres as the economy emerges from the aftermath of Covid-19 and examine the tools available to local authorities to support their evolution.
The course will be structured as follows:
Session 1: Issues and challenges facing town centres
o Long-term (pre-Covid) trends
o The impact of Covid on town centres
o Post-Covid outlook
Sessions 2 and 3: Delivering Change
o What will define successful town centres of the future?
o Establishing a vision and engaging communities
o Developing the right interventions (evidence of need, logic chains and options appraisal)
o Approaches to delivering change (funding bids and policy/strategy levers)
o Demonstrating impact
This course (delivering a total of 4.5 hours of CPD) will be delivered over 3 separate online sessions, taking place on:
The inclusive price (for 3 x 90 minute sessions) is £50 for IED members and £100 for non IED members. No VAT is chargeable.
There is an expectation that delegates will attend all 3 sessions. If you are unable to attend all 3, you can request a recording of the missed session, but there will be no discount should you not be able to attend all 3.
Please note that the sessions will be conducted via Zoom and you will be able to ask live questions via the chat during the course of the sessions.

We need a minimum of 10 delegates to run this course. If minimum numbers are not met, this course will not run and you will receive a full refund.

Remember, the IED requires ALL associate and full members to log at least 40 hours of CPD over a two year period. Half of all CPD logged – 20 hours – needs to consist of formal CPD activity.
