IED CPD Online: Post Brexit Funding POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Run by the Institute of Economic Development Executive Director, Nigel Wilcock.

State Aid and Structural Funds are dead – but what are the replacements now in place? This workshop will set out the Subsidy Controls in place in the UK as a replacement to European State Aid Rules – hoe these impact on Economic Development practitioners and how future intervention policy may be better shaped for locations and remain compliant.

The course will also present the latest knowledge and implications of the other economic development funding available – the position on Shared Prosperity Fund, the Levelling Up fund and the other existing recent schemes including City Deals, Town Funds, Future High Street Funds, Strength in Places Fund.

Attendance is open to both IED members and non IED members.

The price for the webinar for IED members is £35, the price for non IED members is £70.

We need a minimum of 15 delegates to run this course. If minimum numbers are not met, this course will not run and you will receive a full refund.

Remember, the IED requires ALL associate and full members to log at least 40 hours of CPD over a two year period. Half of all CPD logged – 20 hours – needs to consist of formal CPD activity.
