04 Jul 2022 - Online 2-3.30pm 4-6 July
In response to member feedback, we are developing a new online CPD workshop on infrastructure delivery. This course will be delivered by IED partner members Arup, who are experts in this space. The course will be delivered online over the course of 3 days, for 1.5 hours each day (2-3.30pm on the 4, 5 and 6 July 2022).
Infrastructure can stimulate local economies, but failing to provide integrated infrastructure can hold back local development and growth. Delivering quality and sustainable infrastructure is complex and requires coordination across a range of public and private stakeholders. But, when done right, infrastructure can be the foundation of inclusive and sustainable local growth.
This module considers assessing need for infrastructure development, how impact of development may be measured and the opportunities and challenges of different delivery models. The delivery of infrastructure has created some interesting new approaches in terms of delivery, ownership and funding/finance.
Attendance is open to both IED members and non IED members. The inclusive price for this session (3 x 1.5 hour sessions) is £50 for IED members and £100 for non IED members. No VAT is chargeable.
