Each year we hold an annual conference in London where key industry professionals come together to tackle the most pressing challenges faced within economic development, with a view to building a more sustainable environment in order to harbour true economic growth. Keynote speakers in recent years have included Lord Heseltine, Sir Vince Cable, Sir John Peace and Will Hutton.
The 2019 IED Annual Conference, ‘The Challenge of Change – economic strategies for a new era’ will be held on December 4th 2019.
2019’s major economic development and regeneration event, this 1-day central London conference will bring together some 200 sector leaders and senior professionals to explore key topics in economic development and regeneration. With output, growth and inclusion varying enormously across the UK, and the gaps rising, it has never been more important to address the country’s inequalities – and to plot a more coherent, inclusive strategy.
The IED and Regen Events are delighted to announce that Lord Robert Kerslake, President of the Local Government Association, Chair of the UK 2070 Commission and the former head of the UK Civil Service, will give a keynote address at this year’s IED Annual Conference, ‘The Challenge of Change – economic strategies for a new era’ (December 4).
Sign up here to benefit from our early-bird rate (just £149 for IED members until the end of September)!
