This CPD module will take place between c9.30am and 3.30pm and will be delivered by Bev Hurley, Chair of the IED. It will take place in Staff House on the Edgbaston campus at the University of Birmingham (https://conferences.bham.ac.uk/getting-here/#staff-house).
This CPD module is a one-day, interactive course enabling delegates to discuss and overcome the challenges of achieving inclusive growth and the challenges of delivering social value. It will take a comprehensive look at what needs be included in an effective strategy, how and what to measure, and some of the changes that need to be in place in order to embed inclusivity in local and regional activities. The workshop will include external speakers sharing their practical examples, learning and experience of how to achieve more inclusive outcomes.

This full day course will be offered to IED members at £150 per member. The charge for non members is £200.

We need a minimum of 10 delegates to run this course. If minimum numbers are not met, this course will not run and you will receive a full refund. A decision on this will be made on 13th April.
Remember, the IED requires ALL associate and full members to log at least 40 hours of CPD over a two year period. Half of all CPD logged – 20 hours – needs to consist of formal CPD activity.
