Cameron Davis, Senior Economic Analyst – Pegasus Group
After completing my degree in Economic Development at the University of Manchester I joined Pegasus Group, a planning consultancy, as a graduate economic analyst. I have since progressed into the role of senior analyst, a role which involves providing analysis for colleagues and clients in order to supplement planning applications. This analysis can include economic benefits, health impacts, crime impacts, equality impacts, etc. I joined the IED after moving into my graduate role as the rest of my team were members and it was clearly the leading body for economic development professionals. The Institute has provided me with great CPD and networking opportunities ever since joining, one of the highlights has been taking part in the fantastic mentorship scheme set up by the early careers network. Becoming an economic development professional has provided me with a fantastic career where the work I am involved in can truly help people, communities, and sectors across the country
