IED CPD Online: The future of Town Centres and the high street

Important - this webinar will run over 2 separate sessions, each running for 120 minutes on the 3rd and 9th October 2023.

The course will cover

1. Issues and challenges facing town centres

2. Developing effective evidence-based visions and strategies – covering funding bids and green book appraisals

This course will be run by IED members Lambert Smith Hampton, a leading UK commercial and residential real estate consultancy and agency. Colleagues from LSH delivering the course are Steve Norris, National Head of Planning, Regeneration and Infrastructure; Rebekah Formosa, Director Economic Regeneration and Atul Joshi, Associate Director in the Planning, Regeneration and Infrastructure Division.

Attendance is open to both IED members and non IED members.

For those of you completing the Certificate in Economic Development, this is one of the modules in that programme. When you book your ticket, please choose "Certificate in Economic Development rate".

The webinar sessions will be on:

• 3rd October 1.00-3.00pm

• 9th October 1.00-3.00pm

There is an expectation that delegates will attend both webinars. If you are unable to attend both, you can request a recording of the missed webinar, but there will be no discount should you not be able to attend both.

Please note that the webinars will be conducted via Zoom or MS Teams and you will be able to ask live questions via the chat during the course of the sessions.

The inclusive price for this session 2 x 120 minute webinars) is £50 for IED members and £100 for non IED members. No VAT is chargeable. Pay by invoice is possible.

If you are undertaking this module as( part of the Certificate in Economic Development, there is no fee to pay as it has been organised separately - please choose "Certificate in Economic Development rate" when booking on. Please do not choose this rate if you are not undertaking this module as part of the Certificate - all bookings are checked by the IED.

Remember, the IED requires ALL associate and full members to log at least 40 hours of CPD over a two year period. Half of all CPD logged – 20 hours – needs to consist of formal CPD activity.
