IED and BCC Roundtable On Employment Land Shortages

27 Feb 2019 - London (Indigo Planning offices)

The IED and British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) are hosting an Expert Planning Panel for a discussion on the shortage of employment land and premises and its impact on local economies.

The BCC report ‘Planning For Business’ highlighted how businesses in many regions are now struggling to find suitable land and premises for growth and higher productivity (See https://www.britishchambers.org.uk/news/2017/12/bcc-planning-system-must-work-better-for-business)

The roundtable will consider why the shortages have arisen and what can be done to create the right balance of land for jobs and homes.

We are inviting a range of stakeholders and policy makers including representatives from the LEP Network,  the LGA, the RTPI and MHCLG.

The meeting will take place at the offices of Indigo Planning, Aldermary House, 10-15 Queen St, London EC4N 1TX from 11.00 to 13.00 on Wednesday 27th February.

This is an invite only event. Please do email us at info@ied.co.uk if you would like more information.
