11 Oct 2021 - Online via Zoom 2-3.30pm
Important - this is a series of 3 webinars each running for 90 minutes on the 11-13 October 2021.
Run by the Institute of Economic Development Executive Director, Nigel Wilcock.
The Government has recently introduced a series of ‘challenge funds’ based on HM Treasury Green Book but with a competitive angle to securing funding. The IED has pulled together a CPD session to look at the key requirements of successful funding bids and how cases can be presented. The course seeks to maximise the chance of success for applicants but also identify where cases are unlikely to be successful and resources can be deployed elsewhere. The course considers some of the differences between current funding programmes but is essentially intended as a general approach to bid writing. The course will be delivered on line and in a participative style where delegates can hear the experiences and thoughts of others as well as working through the content of the course.
This course will be delivered over 3 separate online sessions, taking place on:
11 October 2.00-3.30pm
12 October 2.00-3.30pm
13 October 2.00-3.30pm
The inclusive price (for 3 x 90 minute sessions) is £50 for IED members and £100 for non IED members.
Please note that the webinars will be conducted via Zoom and you will be able to ask live questions via the chat during the course of the sessions.
To purchase your ticket (pay by invoice is possible) please visit our Eventbrite page here.
There is an expectation that delegates will attend all 3 webinars. If you are unable to attend all 3, you can request a recording of the missed webinar, but there will be no discount should you not be able to attend all 3.
Please check that your organisation/device is Zoom enabled before purchasing your ticket.
We will send you a link to the first Zoom webinar a few days before the first session.
