Micaela Benvenuto

Since graduating in Politics and Data Analytics from the University of Manchester in 2023, I’ve worked in the economic development sector. First, in the North West supporting the development of socio-economic and growth strategies for local and regional authorities, as well as sectoral and investment plans for regional development agencies.

Now I’m a Consultant at Volterra, a London-based socio-economics consultancy,  where I support projects for public and private clients. My work focuses on turning qualitative and quantitative evidence into practical recommendations that can support long-term impact in local communities. This ranges from data analysis and baselining to inform local growth strategies, to assessing the economic and social impacts of infrastructure projects, including transport and cultural developments.

The network helps me to explore different areas of economic development and connect with peers of the sector to understand how we can better partner up to intervene in ways that produce positive outcomes.
