SQW is a leading independent provider of research, analysis and advice in economic and social development. Established in 1983, and operating across the UK, Europe and beyond, we work for clients in the public, private and for charities, trusts and volunteer-based organisations.

Main Services

SQW provides research, analysis and policy advice, which is applied in strategy development, business planning, impact assessment, and programme and project evaluation. We are experts in public policy and work with our clients to research, develop, implement and evaluate social and economic development interventions across a wide range of policy domains. In addition to Spatial Development, our key areas of expertise are Innovation, Children and Young People, and Health and Social Care. This breadth of expertise equips us to work across different fields in an integrated way, avoiding “silo-ed” assessments and solutions.
