iED Partner Webinar: Edge Hill University approach to identifying businesses with growth potential

Edge Hill University has developed an approach to identifying businesses with growth potential and then providing support to enable those businesses to unlock that potential. Their work has been widely recognised as impactful in both Lancashire and the Liverpool City Region and they are keen to widen awareness and the relevance of the approach to other regional economies in the UK.

The talk will be chaired by Nigel Wilcock, Executive Director of the IED and feature Michael Banford, Associate Director of SME Productivity and Innovation Centre at Edgehill who will present the approach and key findings on the future potential of Professional and Business Services, its economic impact, and the strategic support required for SMEs. Attendees will learn how targeted PBS investments can fuel wider innovation, business scale-up, and regional development, and how the “Baseline Review 2024: Identifying Future Growth Potential in Liverpool City Region” underscores the vital role of Professional Business Services in driving regional economic growth.

Attendance is open to both IED members and non IED members and free to attend for all.

We will send you a link to the webinar in the days running up to it.
