Director | Hardisty Jones Associates
I have worked in economic development for 15 years. I am a Director of Hardisty Jones Associates, having previously worked for DTZ (global property and development advisors). I have been based in Cardiff my entire career, following graduation in Economics from Cardiff University.
During my career I have worked for a broad range of clients across the UK in both the public and private sectors. These include government departments, regional development agencies, sub-regional partnerships, LEPs, local authorities and developers. I have worked extensively at the interface of economic development and planning.
I have been an IED member for more than 10 years and I am keen to see the Institute increase its value to Members and see membership grow as a result. Having worked closely with members of the RTPI and RICS I believe there is potential for the IED to build on its progress in recent years, developing and promoting the profession, driving up quality, building networks and sharing best practice. I have therefore been exploring greater involvement for some time.
Outside the world of economic development I am an elder and trustee of Woodville Baptist Church. I am a keen runner and head up Love Running Cardiff, which has raised more than £30,000 for good causes since 2012.
