Head of Outreach | What Works Centre for Local Economic Growth
Megan Streb is Head of Outreach at What Works Centre for Local Economic Growth, which supports central and local government to make better use of evidence and evaluation. She has supported local government officers for over ten years.
As Head of Outreach, Megan leads on engagement work with local government, creating a range of training and resources to support the use of evidence in economic development. As part of this engagement work, she fed into the LGA report, A guide on the role and future skills needs of economic development teams, and the report from Centre for Cities LA Evidential, both exploring how best to support professionals within the industry.
Prior to joining What Works Growth, Megan was Partnerships Manager at Sustrans, supporting local authorities in the South of England on transport policy and strategy development as well as applications for funding. She completed a MSc in Urban Planning from UWE in 2021.
